Obieco Industries has been in operation for 25+ years as an autobody builder manufacturer. Whilst providing the full ‘turnkey’ solution for our customers from design, manufacture and installation, our range of specialist and custom builds include ute trays, service bodies, custom truck builds, tippers, flat beds. In addition, we are specialist suppliers and installers of Effer, Maxilift and Unic truck mounted cranes, Stellar tyre handlers and Tommy Gate tailgate loaders.

Auto Electricians Needed (full time & contractor positions available)
Multiple Auto Electrician opportunities are available to join award winning Tamworth based business – Obieco Industries either as a contractor or full time employed.
You will be joining a supportive and close-knit team who pride themselves on providing an exceptional customer service experience for our clients.
In order to hit the ground running you will need:
- Proven Experience and or Auto Electrician Qualifications
- Attention to detail
- Strong Work ethic
- Ability to work in a team
- Committed to workplace health and safety
- Have your own tools
Metal Fabricators Needed!
Multiple Metal Fabricator opportunities are available to join award winning Tamworth based business – Obieco Industries in a full time capacity.
You will be joining a supportive and close-knit team who pride themselves on providing an exceptional customer service experience for our clients.
You will bring to the role:
- Proven Experience and or Metal Fabrication Qualifications
- Attention to detail
- Strong Work ethic
- Ability to work in a team
- Committed to workplace health and safety
- Have your own tools
Accessory Fitters for our Ute Tray and Truck Body Fit Up areas
You will be:-
- Mechanically minded
- Have similar recent work history fitting car/truck accessories
- Have your own tools
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- High attention to detail
- Team player
- Install vehicle accessories from electronics to exterior accessories
- Installed accessories and performed basic maintenance on new, used and customer vehicles
By joining Obieco Industries, you will benefit from training, a paid day off each year for your birthday, attendance incentives, a minimum two week closure each Christmas and working hours of 0700 – 1600 Monday to Thursday and 0700 – 1315 every Friday to enjoy a long weekend each week!
Successful applicants will be required to pass a pre employment medical including drug screen.
